Hockey Specific Training

REK Training philosophies and experience will give you the ultimate ice hockey workout.  We use functional hockey specific exercises to develop a players core strength.  The workout includes a combination of balance exercises and fast moving plyometric exercises to increase a players speed and quickness both on the ice and in their off ice training. Ryan  created this workout specifically to improve an ice hockey player's speed, agility, balance, and strengthen the hockey specific muscles giving the player an EDGE over his competition.

Conditioning
REK Conditioning consists of on and off ice conditioning from a master level hockey coach and certified personal trainers. This is not for the light hearted. Goal Scoring
REK Goal Scoring focuses on the mental and physical tools necessary to become the leading goal scorer. Not to be confused with a shooting clinic, REK’s camp will teach you how to actually score goals consistently and efficiently. Ryan  will show you how to shoot from the "hot spots" on the ice. Skating
REK Skating camp uses state of the art video, still frame photos, over-speed and power training as methods to break down and begin the process of immaculately improving a players skating stride. Upon completion of skating camp, players walk away with the knowledge of what caused an initial lack of performance. With new improved REK information and moves in tact, players will always remember those little key steps and tips on how to skate like a champ. Puck Protection and Stick Handling
REK Puck Protection and Stick Handling teaches players the importance of patience and balance on the ice. The teaching of technical movements such as good stick handling and proper body positioning will allow players to control the puck more effectively and with ease. With a more open eyed nature on the ice, player’s time and space increases thus giving him the confidence to protect the puck from competitors.
